How does specialty filming unlock dynamic shots that standard tools cannot capture?
Specialized filming brings advanced tools and methods to your production. From drones and FPV rigs to XR stages, technocranes, high speed cameras, and Bolt motion control, these approaches expand what is possible. The result is dynamic shots and memorable perspectives that move your story forward. Every project can benefit from specialized techniques. These tools capture moments standard setups cannot and deliver fresh visual energy. From cinematic slow motion to precise motion control sequences, specialized filming helps your work stand apart while protecting technical excellence.
Gadgets and Gizmos A-plenty
Specialized filming involves gear you don’t see on everyday shoots. These “toys” elevate production value and achieve shots that are usually impossible to get any other way. Whether it’s ultra slow motion with a Phantom, towering wides with a drone, a long silky-smooth technocrane move, or lightning-fast motion control moves with a Bolt robot, the team at FUGO Studios is well equipped to help bring these shots to life. As the specialty filming market grows in Atlanta, our capabilities are virtually unlimited. We provide specialized filming across formats and industries. Our team has years of experience with drones, FPV, high speed cameras, and Bolt systems, and we maintain relationships with XR stages and technocrane resources. Based in Atlanta, we partner with agencies and corporations nationwide to combine technical mastery with creative insight. Our goal is to scale creativity with problem solving. From commercials to branded content, we deliver specialized shots that enhance storytelling and strengthen brand presence.
Specialized filming connects to every phase of production. It builds from Consulting in pre-production where strategy is planned and set, works alongside Cinematography during filming to capture the visuals, and can even integrate with CGI Tracking in post for advanced shots to combine with visual effects. Together these steps ensure specialized filming enhances both creativity and technical execution.

TECHNOCRANE
Technocranes are large cranes with a telescoping arm. A remote head is usually used for precise camera pan, tilt, and rotation, along with the telescoping arm. The Technocrane allows for camera moves not achievable with a jib or dolly.
Moves Within Reach
Phantom Flex
Phantom cameras specialize in high-speed video. Capturing video at ultra-high frame rates can make quick moments last a very long time. This creates new opportunities for dramatic action, detail, and overall awesome shots. For example, do you need an animal to float mid-air while jumping? That can only be done with a high-speed camera like the Phantom.
ULTRA HIGH SPEED, THE BLINK OF AN EYE.
Bolt X Motion Control
The Bolt X cinebot is quickly becoming a go to for never before seen camera moves. The Bolt offers two main advantages – speed & repeatability. At speeds of up to 14m/sec, the Bolt arm can move lighting fast. And when paired with a Phantom Flex camera, your high-speed shots can now have camera movement. Because the Bolt is controlled via computer software, precise repeatable moves allow for motion control shots for creative effect and VFX work.

Process Trailer
There are many different types of process trailers, but they all involve placing a vehicle onto a platform pulled by another vehicle. This allows for talent, lighting, cameras, and crew to ride with the object and film safely while giving the illusion of the vehicle moving. Process trailers allow for much more control when filming dialogue in cars. Car mounts can get you close, but a process trailer allows you to take it to the next level.
